フィリピン、パラワン島で新種の紫色のカニが発見される！
ナショナルジオグラフィックの4月19日の記事によると
フィリピンのパラワン島で、新種のカニが発見されたという！！！
その姿は世にも珍しい紫色のカニ！！
名前は「インスラモン・ヨハンクリスティアニ（Insulamon johannchristiani）」
ちなみに、紫色なのは体格の小さいオスとメスのみ。体の大きいオスはよく見る赤色を帯びている事が多いらしい。
発見したHendrik Freitag氏は、赤には力を誇示する目的があると考えている。
